Island Federal Credit Union
For the past 20 years, VRD Contracting Inc. Has transformed the Island federal credit union into the banking institution that you see today. From infrastructure updates to the transformation of raw spaces and existing branches into their new standards, VRD was instrumental in this transformation across Long Island.
VRD Contracting Inc., in its ongoing collaboration with Bridgehampton National Bank, played a pivotal role in transforming existing office space into a functional and well-needed corporate headquarters. Additionally, VRD contributed to the expansion of Dime Savings Banks’ presence in the Long Island banking sector.
Starting with a banking relationship, Bridgehampton Savings Bank realized that VRD could be a major contributor in their expansion on Long Island. With an eye for detail, VRD was instrumental in the construction of branches in landmark and historic buildings paving the way for their merger with Dime Savings Bank.
For over 15 years, VRD Contracting Inc. has been one of the chosen contractors in the New York metropolitan area who has embraced the challenge of constructing many of the iconic structures that still stand tall on Long Island. From the eastern end to Manhattan, VRD has had the privilege of designing and constructing numerous trendsetting branches and office spaces that continue to serve as landmarks in the region. VRD played a pivotal role in the transformation of North Fork Bank into the Capital One branding, leveraging its intimate knowledge of our past builds. This seamless transition was made possible by the strong partnerships forged with North Fork Bank.
With the challenge of constructing 24 branches in 24 months, VRD Contracting Inc. exceeded all expectations. The success of this initiative can be directly attributed to the transparency and open book policy of the Construction Management platform. By utilizing all of our resources, including a flexible client and architect, the dream became a reality. Ultimately, the success of this initiative positioned Greenpoint Savings Bank for acquisition by North Fork Savings bank.
